Teleoperation datasets with LeRobot

Recording demonstrations on a C1 and training a policy end to end.

Every Kikobot desktop robot is teleoperation-ready. On a C1 you can record demonstrations, publish a dataset, train a policy and run it back on the same arm — the full loop, on a lab budget.

We use LeRobot because that is what research groups already have in the stack, alongside ROS 2, Isaac Sim and Omniverse. The point is not a proprietary pipeline. The point is hardware students can take apart and still get a trained policy onto.

If you are standing up a teaching lab, start with C1 or D1. Documentation, CAD and worked examples are published openly — nothing gated behind a sales call.
